University Entrance Exams in 2026 (University Admission Campaign 2026)

For security reasons, each applicant must finish the NMT within one day. They will have 60 minutes for each subject test. Participants will complete the Ukrainian Language and Mathematics blocks before a 20-minute break, then proceed to the History of Ukraine and optional subjects after the break.

University Entrance Exams in 2026 (University Admission Campaign 2026)

In 2026, applicants will take a national multi-subject test (NMT) to enter any bachelor's degree program and a master's degree program in medical specialties.

A computer-based national multi-subject test is the best option for the assessment during the war.

The NMT will consist of four blocks of tasks: three of them are compulsory, and one is optional. The mandatory subjects included the Ukrainian language, Mathematics, and History of Ukraine. The optional subjects  were Ukrainian literature, one foreign language (either English, German, French, or Spanish), Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Geography.

After completing all NMT tasks, each participant will see their test score for each block on their computer screen. For competitive admission, results for each subject will be converted to a 100–200 scale. The score conversion tables for the 100–200 scale will be published in advance in the Admission Rules for Higher Education in 2026.

Registration for the main NMT session will be open from March 5 to April 2, 2026. The Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment will ensure paperless registration. All applicants must use the special online service on the Center’s website to register.

Until April 7, 2026, registered participants will be able to make changes in their personal accounts (for example, choose another optional subject, change the city where they plan to take the NMT, or indicate the need to participate in additional sessions).

During the additional registration period from May 11 to 16, individuals who could not register during the main period for valid reasons, or who were denied registration, will have the opportunity to enroll in the additional NMT sessions. Registration details can be updated until May 21.

No later than 10 (ten) calendar days before the start of the main sessions, registered participants will be able to download an invitation, containing the date, time, and location of the NMT, from their personal accounts. Participants in the additional sessions will be able to download their invitations no later than 3 (three) calendar days before the start of the additional sessions.

As in previous years, the NMT will be conductedin specially equipped computer labs at educational institutions designated as temporary examination centers (TECs). These centers are located in various settlements both within Ukraine and abroad. Due to ongoing enemy attacks on our cities, testing will be  paused during air alerts and continued only after participants and  the TECs workers have safely returned from the shelters.

The main NMT sessions will run from May 20 to June 25, 2026; additional sessions will run from July 17 to July 24, 2026. Applicants who are unable to attend the main session for valid reasons may apply to participate in the additional NMT session.

Results  of the main NMT session, scored on a 100–200 scale, will be available on participants’ personal pages on July 3, 2026; the results of the additional session will be available on July 29, 2026.
