University Entrance Exams in 2025 (University Admission Campaign 2025)

For security reasons, the NMT will be conducted on the same day for each participant. Each subject test will take 60 minutes to complete. Participants will first complete the tasks for the Ukrainian language and Math blocks, followed by a 20-minute break. After the break, they will work on the tasks related to History of Ukraine and their chosen subject.

University Entrance Exams in 2025 (University Admission Campaign 2025)

In 2025, applicants will need to pass a national multi-subject test (NMT) to enter bachelor's degree program and master's degree program for medical specialties. A computer-based national multi-subject test is the best option for assessment during wartime.

The NMT consists of four blocks of tasks: three are compulsory, and one is optional. The mandatory subjects include the Ukrainian language, Mathematics, and History of Ukraine. The optional subjects are Ukrainian literature, one foreign language (either English, German, French, or Spanish), Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Geography.

After completing all the tasks of the NMT (National Multi-Subject Test), each participant will see their score for each block displayed on their computer screen. The results will be converted to a scale of 100 to 200 points, which will be used for the competitive selection process. Tables for converting scores to this scale are provided in the Ukraine University Admission Procedure in 2025. Therefore, immediately after the test, participants will not only know the number of points they scored but will also be able to understand how their results affect their chances of admission. For all specialties coefficients have been established for the results of each block of the NMT. Information regarding these coefficients can be found in the Ukraine University Admission Procedure in 2025.

Registration for the main session of the NMT was from March 6 to April 3, 2025. The Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment provided online registration. All applicants could access a special service on the Center's website.

Registered participants could make changes to their personal accounts until April 8, 2025. This includes options such as selecting a different subject for the additional block, changing the city where they wish to take the NMT, or reporting the need to take the NMT during additional sessions.

Testing will occur during both the main and additional sessions. The main session will take place from May 14 to June 25, while the additional session will be held from July 14 to July 25. Applicants who are unable to attend the testing during the main session for valid reasons are permitted to register for the additional NMT session.

During the additional registration period from May 9 to 14, individuals who had valid reasons for not registering during the main registration period, as well as those who were denied registration during that time, will have the opportunity to register for the NMT. Additionally, any changes to registration information can be made until May 19.

Starting May 4, registered participants of the main NMT session will receive invitations on their personal pages, which will include the date, time, and location of the session. Participants of the additional NMT session will be informed of the date, time, and location of their testing starting July 11.

As in previous years, the NMT will take place in specially equipped computer labs at educational institutions designated as temporary examination centers (TECs). These centers will be located in various settlements both within Ukraine and abroad. Due to ongoing enemy attacks on our cities, testing will be paused during air alerts and will only resume once participants and staff from the TECs have safely returned from their shelters.

With the help of our international partners, temporary examination centers for conducting bachelor's degree entrance exams for Ukrainian youth will be established in 55 cities across 33 countries this year.

Results from the main NMT session, scored on a scale of 100 to 200 points, will be available on the personal pages of test participants starting July 4, 2025. The results from the additional session will be published on July 30, 2025.

pecialists of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment have prepared useful materials to prepare for the test. They can be found on the Center's website.

To prepare for the NMT 2025, we would recommend that you familiarise yourself with the EIT program. It is advised that applicants utilise past years' tests and practice different task formats available on the "All-Ukrainian School Online" educational platform, where training versions of subject tests can be found.

It is important to remind that applicants who received their NMT results from 2022 to 2024 can use those results to apply instead of their 2025 NMT results.
