University Entrance Exams in 2025 (University Admission Campaign 2025)

Due to security reasons, the NMT was conducted on the same day for each participant. Each subject test took 60 minutes to complete. After the break, they worked on the tasks related to History of Ukraine and their chosen subject.

University Entrance Exams in 2025 (University Admission Campaign 2025)

In 2025, applicants had to pass a national multi-subject test (NMT) to enter bachelor's degree program and master's degree program for medical specialties.A computer-based national multi-subject test is the best option for assessment during the war.

The NMT consisted of four blocks of tasks: three are compulsory, and one is optional. The mandatory subjects included the Ukrainian language, Mathematics, and History of Ukraine. The optional subjects  were Ukrainian literature, one foreign language (either English, German, French, or Spanish), Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Geography.

After completing all the tasks of the NMT all the NMT tasks (National Multi-Subject Test), each participant saw their score for each block displayed on their computer screen. The results were converted to a scale of 100 to 200 points, which was  used for the competitive selection process. Tables for converting scores to this scale were provided in the Ukraine University Admission Procedure in 2025.

Registered participants could make changes in their personal accounts until April 8, 2025.  They could select a different subject for the additional block, change the city where they wish to take the NMT, or  report the need to take the NMT during additional sessions.

During the additional registration period from May 9 to 14, individuals who had valid reasons for not registering during the main registration period, as well as those who were denied registration during that time, had  the opportunity to enroll for the NMT. Additionally, any changes to registration information could be made until May 19.

These centers  were located in various settlements both within Ukraine and abroad. Due to ongoing enemy attacks on our cities, testing was  paused during air alerts and continued only after participants and  the TECs workers have safely returned from the shelters.

With the help of our international partners, temporary examination centers for conducting bachelor's degree entrance exams for Ukrainian youth were  established in 55 cities across 33 countries this year.

The main session took  place from May 14 to June 25, while the additional session were  held from July 14 to July 25. Applicants who were unable to attend the testing during the main session for valid reasons were permitted to register for the additional NMT session.

In 2025, more than 289,000 individuals participated in the NMT and received their results. A total of 284,460 applicants took part in the main sessions (including 15,917 abroad). The attendance rate for the main sessions was 91.86% within Ukraine and 84.98% abroad. During the additional sessions, more than 5,000 participants completed the NMT: 4,064 in Ukraine (74.88% of those registered) and 1,263 abroad (65.24% of those registered).

To facilitate these assessments, 7,742 TECs were established within 1,188 educational institutions and facilities. Among these, 104 centers operated in 55 cities across 33 countries

Results from the main NMT session, scored on a scale of 100 to 200 points, were available on the personal pages of test participants starting July 4, 2025. The results from the additional session  were published on July 30, 2025.
