Monitoring Studies
The development of the education system in general and its individual levels is not possible without the relevant and reliable data on its condition and quality at specific time and dynamics obtained by all stakeholders. That is why in the current Law of Ukraine ‘On Education’, a special section which defines the purpose, components of the system and forms of quality assurance in Ukraine is devoted to ensuring the quality of education.
One of the means to ensure and improve the quality of education is monitoring the quality of education.
Today, the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment is responsible for organizing and conducting two monitoring studies:
- the Nationwide external monitoring of the quality of primary education, and
- PISA – an international study on the quality of education (cycles 2018, 2021/22, 2025).
The section contains up-to-date information about the implementation of monitoring studies of monitoring studies and their results as well as other materials useful for teachers, parents and students.
