MCT and MTEC are computer-based tests that were held in specially designated temporary examination centers (as well as NMT) throughout Ukraine (where it appeared to be possible, in coordination with the local authorities) and in some more countries of Europe.
Master's Comprehensive Test (MCT) consisted of two sub-tests: Foreign Language (English, German, French or Spanish) and Law. The duration of the test was 120 minutes.
Master's Test of Educational Competence (MTEC) is a Ukrainian analogue of LSAT, it contained items aimed to determine the general educational competence of the applicant. The duration of the test was 75 minutes.
Students’ registration for MCT and MTEC was from June 27 to July 18 inclusive. MCT and MTEC were held in specially designated temporary examination centers in Ukraine (in coordination with the local authorities) and in 13 more countries of Europe.
Testing was held in three sessions:
- main session
- additional session
- special session.
To conduct MCT and MTEC, new software had been developed.
The test results were scaled. The 100–200 scale was used.
The detailed information about MCT and MTEC is presented in the "Entrance Tests in 2022" section of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment’s website. See further details here.
