Entrance Examinations - 2025: we are grateful to our foreign partners
It is the fourthyear, that the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment has been conducting entrance examinations, namely the National Multisubject Test (NMT) for admission to bachelor’s programs and the Unified Entrance Exam (UEE) and Unified Professional Entrance Exam (UPEE) for admission to master’s programs, not only in Ukraine but also abroad.

Hence, more than 20 thousand applicants, who were forced to leave Ukraine due to the war, this year were able to take entrance exams at foreign temporary examination centers (TECs) to get a chance to enter national universities and contribute to the reconstruction and development of our country in a few years.
Hundreds of people and dozens of institutions were involved, many hours were spent on negotiations, consultations, and approvals to ensure that Ukrainians staying abroad exercise their right to enter universities of their native country.
After all, in order to conduct testing in at least one foreign testing center, it was necessary not only to find partners in a particular country, agree with them on important logistical details, assist and advice throughout the entire period of preparation and sessions, but also to find, train, and provide constant support to those Ukrainians who were ready to conduct field testing, as well as coordinate and advise participants. However, it is worth the effort, when you see the results. And it is immensely impressive!
Thus, 81 temporary examination centers in 55 cities of 33 countries held the assessments abroad. Due to this, it was possible to create more than 18 000 workplaces for participants in the 2025 entrance examination.
The goals were achieved due to the collaboration of numerous stakeholders at various stages of preparation and examination. Each played a vital role in solving specific problems, including:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with Ukrainian embassies and consulates worldwide, that facilitated communication and the organization of TTCs abroad;

Donetsk and Kherson Regional Centers for Educational Quality Assessment, that were responsible for staff recruitment, training and exam support;

Ministries of Education in foreign countries, that approved various organizational matters concerning the NMT, UEE, and UPEE in their countries;

Official PISA сenters, public organizations, volunteers, which helped to conduct testing in response to the call of the Ukrainian;
- Heads of foreign educational institutions and representatives of these institutions, who provided the necessary conditions for the examination.
